Chicken seasoning can be purchased in herb n spice section at woolworths or Coles.
Or to make your own mix together the herbs n spices below
HOMEMADE CHICKEN SEASONING

Ingredients
- 4 cups plain flour, divided
- 2 tablespoons garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 3 teaspoons pepper, divided
- 2-1/2 teaspoons chicken seasoning ( see notes)
- 2 large eggs
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1.2kg chicken pieces
- Oil for deep-frying
Directions
- In a large shallow dish, combine 2-2/3 cups flour, garlic salt, paprika, 2-1/2 teaspoons pepper and chicken seasoning.
- In another shallow dish, beat eggs and water; add salt and the remaining 1-1/3 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then place in flour mixture, a few pieces at a time. Turn to coat.
- In a deep frypan or fryer heat oil. Fry chicken, several pieces at a time, until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear, 7-8 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels

- 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
