Jetstar announces a MASSIVE, SUPER-CHEAP seat sale for domestic and trans-Tasman travel in 2022
Despite the fact that New Zealand has not opened their borders to us just yet, Jetstar has announced a massive domestic and trans-Tasman sale for travellers flying from February 2022.
More than 85,000 discounted fares will be offered in a bid to reboot the airline's operations in New Zealand following a period of heavy Covid-related restrictions.

Additionally, the government announced that restrictions for international travel will be eased in the first quarter of 2022.
However, the details of both announcements have not been revealed.
Despite the lack of clarity on the relaxation of travel restrictions, Jetstar is betting on these possibilities.
Earlier this year, the airline was forced to halt flights across New Zealand, following the spike of Delta variant cases in the country.
The cancelled flights included domestic flights as well as international routes to Australia and the Cook Islands, which were in a quarantine-free travel bubble agreement with New Zealand.
Currently, New Zealand's borders remain closed due to the impacts of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Australia has recently relaxed its COVID-19 restrictions, announcing the resumption of international travel in November in states that have hit their vaccination targets.
