I would put that $50 into a high interest savings account as a kickstart to build upon saving for my funeral so my kids don't have to fork out for any costs.

I would love to win an SDC membership for free. I look forward to all the news every day & love playing the bingo, crossword & trivia. I would pay for the yearly membership but am on a pension, live in a nursing home & have to stick to a pretty tight budget. Beside all of that I do look forward to it every day.

Last year was not kind to me, I had a falling out with my sister, lots of sleepless nights due to a noisy tenant that lives next door to me and now she has a dog that mostly barks at night, one good think came out for me is that myself and my sister did make amends about 2 months after our fallout, I am trying to get a new start to this year so far that is not working for me.

Are the people next door to you renting?
We had noisy renters and I called every real estate agent in our area until I found the one they rented through, they got evicted that weekend :)

I’d love to win this one because I got rid of pay pal since joining and don’t know how to pay again when it’s due 🤭
Besides I love SDC all the stories and helpful advice. Not forgetting all the people on here and seeing the different views you all have. I also find having almost no ads it’s heaven !

I have enjoyed being able to read SDC every morning, whether there's controversy between members or agreements, we keep joining in. Some members are always ready with a joke, complaint or ideas on some "How to" a joke or sharing cooking, baking or whatever, there's always something worth reading and discussions to join in. It starts off my day nicely.

A wish for you: May you and your sister remain close and immediately resolve any disagreement so nothing festers. Have a fantastic 2025 and more.
P.S- my neighbours have 2 massive dogs and lots of possums nesting in their trees. These jump from their big pines unto my tin roof.

I'm really enjoying my SDC Rewards membership but being an 83 year old pensioner I struggled to afford the membership for 2024. Imagine waking up every day for the next year being able to open up my emails and find free twice daily SDC newsletters! What a joy, and what a relief to know I will not miss out on all the fun and information provided. Plus SDC will have made it possible for me to meet a nagging bill with ease, or treat myself with an order to the butcher for half a Spring Lamb to provide me with meat in my freezer for the best part of the year. Yes! yes! yes! Bring it on!

I love SDC it a way that I can keep up with the news. I do not buy New Papers and hardly ever look at News.
Our TV is not connected to the aerial, we are currently renting and I was not going to pay for someone to come and see why it will not connect. We love to watch real life, people showing you what they do for a living, this is very interesting as we can go all over the world and see what is happing. We watch Mr Dig who has a YouTube channel showing What is happening with his recycling Business, Another one is call Working Horses with Jim, he uses Draft Horses to Log Timber and to run his farm that he grows crops, hay making, Another one is called Dexter World he is producing animals for sale, Another one is Chronicles of Kayla first generation farmer, and she videos her day to day life on the farm, another one is how to restore old vehicles back to working condition, there are cooking shows, Gardening shows, this is just a few that we Subscribe to an watch when ever they have put up a new post on YouTube. I do not think that I would ever what TV again as there is so much rubbish that is not real and I would rather watch what other are doing. Take a look and see.
