There’s nothing like a perfectly crispy, warm jaffle straight from these irons! This has to be one of the best camping/backyard inventions. These handy little gadgets created delicious toasted sandwiches perfect for cold nights. Do you still have one of these?

Jaffle irons remind me of my childhood in the 50's, and yes we still have one. It stays in our caravan. It would have to be an antique now! Beats a sandwich maker!

These are great. We use to call them 'toastie toasties'. This word jaffle iron is American.

Yes we still have one but not being used. We used ours on the wood stove or the open fireplace. Lovely and tasty contents were added.

We used to call the jaffles Flying Saucers. Left over casserole made the best filling.

We have a double cast iron one and use it in our indoor fire box (our main heating source in winter) when we have some leftover casserole, so it's not often with 33 yr old son living with us.
