McDonald's Australia announced on May 31st that the much-missed McFeast is making a triumphant return to participating restaurants nationwide for a limited time only – and if we’re being honest, it's been far too long since everyone’s last enjoyed this mouth-watering classic.
Upon its announcement, there was a palpable outpouring of excitement and relief on social media.
The McFeast was last offered in June 2021.
At the time, many Macca’s fans left comments like, ‘It's the only burger I really like from McDonald's’ and ‘McFeast - best Macca's burger, still super upset they took it off the menu’ on social media, sharing their frustration that the offer was ending its run.
The McFeast is an expertly crafted fast food meal featuring a 100 per cent Aussie-made beef patty, fresh tomato, crisp lettuce, cheese, onions and pickles – all topped with a delectable trio of sauces (mustard, tomato sauce, and the iconic McChicken sauce) and served on a sesame seed bun. It truly is a masterpiece of fast-food engineering.
But wait, there's more! Not only is McDonald's bringing back our beloved McFeast, but they're also offering it as part of a $5.95 meal deal.
That's right, for a limited time, you can treat yourself to a McFeast, small fries, and small drinks all in one convenient and delicious package.
This amazing deal will be available daily between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm via the MyMacca's app, so just when your stomach starts rumbling for a lunchtime treat, you know what to do.
In a statement to reporters, Tobi Fukushima, National Marketing Manager for McDonald's Australia, said: ‘You asked a lot - and so we've listened. The McFeast is back!’
‘Combining high-quality ingredients with iconic flavour combinations, the McFeast is one of our tastiest burgers of all time. It's not here for long, so head to your local Macca's or the MyMacca's app to avoid missing out,’ he continued.
