It's a skill

Looks just like my kitchen sink after doing dishes. I have had the luxury of dishwashers in the past, they do an excellent job but now have to do them myself, as no room in our kitchen to install one. I tend to stack em all in like the above and then open the window for a breeze dry, then put away.

When the kids were all at home I bought a dishwasher and they each had their jobs. 1 to stack 1 to unload and 1 to put away. They used to fight about it, whinge and complain, so I sold the dishwasher and they had to wash by hand. Never bought another one :ROFLMAO:

All my married life I lusted over a dishwasher but never had room for one. Now I'm on my own I have one but don't have the amount of dirty dishes to warrant it so still do it by hand.

I wash he wipes

My wife was always happy to wash by hand but after we got our house built, I snuck in to the plans, a dishwasher. After we moved in, she was delighted and when asked if she would ever go back to washing by hand she gave a resounding "NO WAY!!!" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

never had a dishwasher for over 75 yrs, then retired and bought a house that had a dishwasher, that was 7 yrs ago and still haven't used it.

Wanna sell it?

I have had a dishwasher for the last 15 years or so but now we have a very small house & no dishwasher which is OK as I only wash up when the mood takes me & I feel stable on my feet. My carer does the cooking & the washing up. As I am no longer strong enough to do so.

I lust after the dishwasher next door, but she's happily married.

Thank you Nana. I still wash dishes by hand and have never owned a dishwasher.

I dish wash. She re-washes. The dish washer only does a 95% job, there is always unwashed section of dishes, no matter if I use the most expensive 'no need to pre-wash' or the cheapest ALDI or Woolies tablets.

Admitted I live in a rented property & the landlord did install the cheapest they could get.

Thank you, the only way to make sure they are really and truly clean is to hand wash.

Heres an idea: Write to your local hospital and tell them to stop using those silly machines and to start hand washing all the surgical tools from now on!
