Tell me about your dream house. Is it a sprawling estate with acreage and a long driveway? Maybe it has a grandiose entryway with a double staircase leading up to an enormous front door. Perhaps, it even has its own private beach. I assume most people want their dream homes to come complete with a garage. But not this one for sale. This $12 million mansion doesn't seem to have a garage. And people are genuinely confused.

Upstairs, the magnificent master bedroom features its own lounge area with sofa beds, a fireplace, a double marbled-adorned bathroom, and a large walk-in closet.
But there seems to be something missing among its astonishing features—its garage!

Beyond the spectacular home's enormous gates, a secret door is concealed in the gravel. It pulls itself up to expose the ramp t leading to the massive six-car underground garage. Can you believe this house's gravel-strewn front yard hides a six-car garage beyond that concealed driveway? Amazing, eh?

The prestigious pad, which has not been the primary residence of its affluent owner, is now for sale with an asking price of $12 million – a hike of nearly $1 million in three years.
It was designed by Melbourne hospitality entrepreneur Peter Rowland, whose renowned catering company caters to some of the city's most prestigious events, including the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Formula One, and the Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Frank and Sharon van Handel, the owners of the fine-dining institution Stokehouse, also owned and restored the three-bedroom home until selling it in 2019 for $11.1 million.
Expressions of interest are due by 5pm on June 20; to see the listing, head here.
