Is there something you've been wanting to try, but you're too scared to take the plunge?

Hey everyone! :)

How are you all doing? I just wanted to hop on here again to start a discussion on trying new things and getting out of our comfort zones. Is there something you've been wanting to try, but you're too scared to take the plunge? Well, I'm here to tell you to just go for it!

I recently tried boxing for the first time, and I have to say, it was quite the experience. 🥊 I've always been curious about the sport, but I was a bit hesitant to try it because of how physical and intense it is. But I finally decided to give it a go and signed up for a boxing class last Saturday.

I won't lie; it was tough! I almost passed out during one of the five sparring sessions. But I pushed through, and I'm so glad I did. It was a great workout, and I learned a lot about myself and my limits. I realized that stepping out of your comfort zone can be scary but also incredibly rewarding. You might surprise yourself with how much you enjoy it, and even if you don't, at least you can say you tried!

So, what are some things that you have been wanting to try but have been hesitant to do so? Share them in the comments below. Let's motivate and support each other to take the plunge and try something new!

Good luck with the boxing. It will keel Mr Vella out of your way when necessary!!
We have wanted to do the Big Lap for some time but the opportunity had never arisen until last year. My grand-daughter was going to 'travel' so we suggested that she might like to come here and house sit for us for the year of her visa. She arrived a few weeks ago and so we are setting off on Saturday/Sunday coming with the car and caravan all set up and ready to see how far we get. Cape Byron, Cape York, The Gulf country, Darwin, (and out before the 'wet' starts in October), Broome, Derby, Canaervon, Perth (for Christmas with my nephew) Albany, Port Lincoln, Gt Ocean Road and home to Melbourne. Where, when and how depends on our choices. I am on the even dates and my other half is on the odd dates. It worked well in the UK when we were on holiday there so maybe it will work again some twenty five years later!!
