Footage from that event showed onlookers gazing skyward at what was claimed to be a spacecraft, with one observer suggesting it was a hoax, 'wobbling on a piece of string,' while another insisted, 'It's a UFO, they say they live in nearby Tepoztlán.'


Tepoztlán, a mountain town known for its ancient Tepozteco pyramid, has long been a hotspot for UFO sightings, drawing enthusiasts from around the globe. The recent footage from Cerro del Cubilete shows the UFO near the left hand of the 65-foot-tall Christ the King statue, with one local visitor remarking, 'It's an alien navigator.'
