I think the Woolworths subscription at $59 a year (can’t remember how much per month, but it was significantly more) is the better choice. You get extra specials, 10% off once a month, and bonus points. Easy to make up the amount paid in a year. Also works at Big W.

This saving is also available for people who take out Woolworths insurance.

I weighed up the cost between woolies and Coles. I always preferred Coles over Woolies but since we moved I now shop more at Woolies as it is more reliable stock wise than Coles and more a more pleasant environment than our local Coles. I was getting home deliveries from Coles for a while and their offer to join Coles club didn’t appeal to me as if you spent over, I think, $250 you got free delivery anyway and my fortnightly shopping qualified every time. Now with Woolies being my main supermarket I joined their program and in my first shop I saved $41 with my 10% discount so paying $7 per month was well worth it along with that and the extra points and specials.

Well unless you buy online it's really rubbish. Woolies you get $10 for every $200 you spend. Plus if you join the extras for the yearly price works out to $5 a month. 10% discount at both Woolies and Big W can give you a lot of discount on groceries and at Big W books and clothes. If you are going to spend the money why not get 10% extra a month off plus your extra dollars to save for Christmas
