She ‘swears by’ her best friend’s method, which starts by draping the cover over his entire body.
In her video, Kyndall covers her friend in the fabric, before taking two corners of the doona in his hands (while still encased in the sheets). She helps him fold and turn the cover, eventually her friend emerges with a neatly changed doona.

Melbourne-based home hack queen, Chantel Mila, also has a doona hack to share.
In a video she posted on her TikTok page, ‘Mama Mila’ (as she is affectionately called) said that the quickest way to change the sheets is to lay the quilt cover inside out and place the doona on top.
Then, she rolled the quilt cover and doona together towards the end of the bed. Afterward, she said to flip the cover over and fasten at the end.

She started by having the duvet cover inside out with the opening at the base of the bed, and the comforter on top of the duvet cover. Then she folded the sheets to make a ‘triangle’ at one end, before rolling the covers together like a burrito.
