Introduction

G'day everybody My name is David but I go by Dave I'm not quite retired but I'm too young to do so yet, anyway. My background is I am originally a Kiwi and as I haven't taken out citizenship yet, I guess I still am. And proudly so.
37 years married this year. I have an Australian wife and kids.
Background in aged care and now home care. Never played sport.
I have no hobbies as such but my pass times include reading crosswords jigsaws and even writing.... Love most styles of music (except opera and I hate rap) but mostly country music.

I don't think I have any one particular song that is my favourite. Although Beatles songs I like Joe Cocker Ticket for an Aeroplane and John Farnham slow version of Help - well both really!
I often have many songs pass through my brain everyday summer sing out loud others I just mention and others I don't talk about it all. When I used to work in the nursing home I would often break out into Day-o and get the oldies cracking up. They're what other songs as well of course and l would have to say Judith Durham singing We are Australian really gets me the most..... Yes many and varied songs... As the saying goes "I know every song l have heard but only a chorus or a few words to each."
l never played an instrument...
