Interior design pros are raving over new Kmart kitchen essentials – a chic, budget-friendly toaster and kettle set

Most of us think that achieving a magazine-esque kitchen costs a fortune… But Kmart has recently proven that it’s possible even if you’re on a tight budget after it launched a new set of sleek appliances.

Interior design professionals have been vocal about how much they love the latest toaster and kettle set from the retail giant as it combines style, functionality, and affordability.

With a sleek white finish and wood-look details, both appliances have left thousands of shoppers flocking to their local stores to get a hold of them.

The toaster and matching kettle cost $42 each and have been spotted in the kitchens of popular home styling pros such as Imogen Alexandra.

The mum-of-four, who has nearly 20,000 followers on Instagram, flaunted the eye-catching appliances in a post. Imogen styled them with a nordic vase from TK Maxx and an eco-friendly Odcuple coffee cup.

'Oh, how stunning and stylish! I love love love!' a fan wrote in the comments.

'I was just at Kmart and had these in my trolley but regretfully put them back. This is a sign to go back and get them.’ said another.

‘Looks beautiful I need these for myself.’ praised a third.

A similar version of the set also won the heart of several Kmart customers but the new kettle and toaster are $10 cheaper.

Kmart's website was flooded with positive four and five-star reviews from several happy customers, with one hailing the appliances as a fantastic value for the price.

The new toaster and kettle are available on Kmart’s website and in-stores nationwide.

But these aren’t the only home items that took the internet by storm lately. Shoppers have also been scrambling to get their hands on another trendy Kmart buy.

'I'm absolutely in love with the new glass lamp from Kmart!' a customer shared in a Facebook post after stumbling across the $35 Amelie Table Lamp.

The lamp seems to be inspired by Italian Murano designs, with one woman sharing that she received a similar glass lamp for her birthday almost 40 years ago. She detailed that the lamp was an original Italian Murano glass and was thrilled upon discovering that the style is making a comeback.

Murano glass is considered an art form in Venice. The glasswares typically feature bright colours and are elaborately decorated. They are made with various glass-forming techniques including gilding, enamel, and engraving.

'This is such a treasure.’ the woman, Carley, said about her pink lamp.

‘What a beautiful and special lamp - truly an amazing gift from your dad.' another user responded.

A vintage retailer valued the pink lamp at $600 – costing more if the original 'Made in Italy' sticker was still intact.

'Kmart is trying to replicate the original Murano glass mushroom lamp with their Amelie table lamp.' Carley said.

But many users thought that the lamp from Kmart was just as stunning as the high-end version.

'While I hope to one day own an original Murano, Kmart's version is beautiful as well.' wrote one person.

'This is gorgeous, it's not a want but a need!' declared another.

'So beautiful and it is styled so well too.’ praised a third.

Great article but I think the reference to smoking ridiculous and dangerous. Nothing beats giving up smoking for your overall wellness, I am 28 days there and continuing.

Good for you, and don't forget that it is not worth weakening to the craving and having all those days go to waste. It does get easier as you go. Just remember when you would just sit down to relax and have a smoke to find something else to reward yourself for, like taking a break to go and sit in the sun with a coffee for a reward and a break.
