A carer was left stunned after seeing the face of former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, staring back at him from the strangest place possible.
We've all seen someone we know in the most random places before. Whether it's a colleague at the shops or a friend at the movies, it always manages to surprise us.
But imagine seeing someone you recognise in a place so unexpected, so out-of-the-ordinary, that it would be hard to believe if you didn't see it with your own two eyes.
That's exactly what happened to Jonathan Hoitinga, a carer from Leatherhead in Surrey, UK, who was preparing curry for one of his clients when he saw none other than former Prime Minister Boris Johnson staring back at him – right in the middle of the dish!
In a story submitted to The Sun, the 40-year-old carer said his client wanted the rice and curry to be served beside each other. ‘When I went to pick up the plate, I saw it,’ Jonathan said. ‘I said, “Oh, it looks like a face. It looks like Boris.”’
The dad of one also shared that his client found the incident ‘hilarious’ and that he is willing to eat Boris Johnson (the curry) after finding out that it looked similar to him. ‘He said it looked like him then said, “Well, I’m going to eat him now,’” he shared.
Jonathan Hoitinga shared his belief that the chicken korma doppelganger is a sign that the former Prime Minister might make a comeback to the political scene, taking over the position of British PM from Liz Truss.
‘He couldn’t do any worse than Liz,’ he said.
Earlier this week, Liz Truss resigned as British prime minister – just six weeks after she was appointed.
