'I have a little rotation': Discover Fran Drescher's secret to happiness

In the pursuit of happiness, it often leads us down various paths.

One famous star has shared her unique approach to finding joy and maintaining a fulfilling personal life.

Fran Drescher has candidly opened up about her sex life and revealed a spicy detail that has many audiences split.

Some might raise their eyebrows, while others may get the inspiration to consider non-traditional relationships.

During a recent interview with Page Six at the Cinema Society screening of The Friend, 67-year-old Drescher slipped that she's not just enjoying the company of a single 'friend with benefits'.

'I have a little rotation,' Drescher shared during the interview.

The revelation came five years after she first admitted to having a casual, intimate arrangement.

When the interviewer expressed their surprise at the term' rotation', Drescher, with her characteristic wit and confidence, laughed it off.

'I'm Fran Drescher. What do you think?' she asked.

Fran Drescher explained that her close relationship with her gay ex-husband, whom she married in 1978, shaped her current approach to romance.

After separating in 1996 and divorcing in 1999, Drescher and her ex-husband, Peter Jacobson, have remained good friends.

Their enduring friendship influenced her decision to keep things light and fun with her companions.

Thus, she opted for 'friends with benefits' situations rather than deeper commitments.

In 2020, Drescher shared that her busy work schedule meant that she and her then-partner only saw each other about twice a month, which she found to be 'more than enough'.

Now, she has expanded her circle and has been enjoying the variety and freedom her 'rotation' offers.

Despite her interesting personal life, Drescher also faced her share of challenges.

She has been working on a Broadway musical adaptation of The Nanny.

However, the project has faced several setbacks, including an actors' strike, her father's recent passing, and the Palisades fires that impacted her home.

Drescher has been open about these struggles and emphasised the importance of being 'very gentle' with oneself and sharing one's experiences with a trusted circle of friends.

Currently, Drescher splits her time between Beverly Hills and New York City and has been finding solace in her East Coast home.

'I have a place here in New York, too,' she added. 'I'm very happy because this is my home, too.'

The Cinema Society premiere for The Friend was a star-studded event.

Yet, it was Drescher's frank discussion of her personal life that captured the attention of many.

Her confidence and openness about her choices offered a fresh perspective on how to navigate the complexities of love and companionship in the modern age.

I watched the Nanny fairly regularly as I thought the humour in it was great. I tend to like the Jewish sense of humour. A few years ago I found a page on the internet where Jewish people of all ages were telling jokes and a lot of them you would not tell your Grandma.

So, I take it that you believe that the denizens of MAFS are real people, doing real things in their real televised lives for the world to see?
What makes you think that? MAFS is one of the very worst of the manipulated, edited-for-ratings gameshows ever conceived and created!

I think I queried your post because it didn't seem to have anything to do with Fran Drescher. I'm still struggling to find the connection!

True, nothing to do with Fran baby. it was partly in reply to the first poat, which said you can't always believe what you hear. I replied because the general idea of these "reality" shows on the cretiniser is that they're presented to the gawpers out there as fact, that the crap being depicted is really happening, that the results are unexpected, when all the time it's done for the ratings and the money from the comicals.

A lot of garbage is what is being shown these days. Who cares about ‘farmer wants a wife’, ‘married at first sight’ and the like. It is all put on for the cameras and I’m pretty sure most ‘marriages’ like that don’t last more than a very short while (if at all) but the people in them probably get paid a reasonable amount to be in the show. Do we really need to see a woman with forced tears running down her face when ‘jilted’ or the same man kissing multiple women and vice versa? NO, better things to do and turn the TV off when this rubbish is on. Doesn’t Fran have enough money, or has she spent/wasted all she made?

"A lot of garbage ... " -- that's why the goddess made docos and DVDs and movies from the Internet Archive. IMHO, TV is suitable only for snippets of info that directly affect me. Unfortunately, to find such bits of knowledge, you have to sit through mind-numbing "news" and advertisements which mean absolutely nothing to me.
The talking heads on the "news" read only what's given to them to read and they don't bother to really check what it is they're saying. They just get paid inordinate amounts of money to say it.
