How one Aussie recreated the VIRAL Kmart Christmas candle at home!

Ah, Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year as most would say. For others though, it’s a rather stressful one too, considering all the decorating, cooking and present shopping to be done as the holiday nears.
One clever Aussie woman who was struggling to find a popular Christmas candle from Kmart has come up with her own version using just a few simple items. If you want to read more about the candle everyone is raving about, click here.
She admitted that she had been trying to track down the Christmas Cookie candle ever since it went viral on TikTok, but sadly, she had no luck finding it in any store.
Finally, she decided to take matters into her own hands and see if she could come up with a DIY solution. And we have to say, we're impressed!
‘OK so I’m sorry if this looks tacky or silly in any way but I have been looking for the Christmas cookie sprinkle candle for days straight with no luck,’ the woman explained in a Facebook post.
‘My mother-in-law works at Kmart and said they went viral on TikTok and are going to be hard to get.’

All it took was one trip and a chance sighting of similar candles on a trolley.
‘I walked into Kmart Campbelltown, NSW, and I saw these normal Christmas cookie candles on a trolley. I grabbed one and thought to myself, “Maybe I could try and make my own version.”’
Aside from the candles, she also used a paintbrush, some craft glue, Selleys Kwik Grip adhesive contact spray, and some sprinkles (which she already had lying around from another project) for the amazing do-it-yourself project.
What’s more, the entire process only took her 5 minutes!
‘It may not look as nice as the other one or others may not like the result, but I love it and I’m actually pretty stoked with how it turned out,’ the woman continued.
‘Just thought I would share in case others find this as a great alternative if they can’t get their hands on the Christmas cookie sprinkle candle.’
People first started talking about the Christmas Cookie candle when TikTok user @crocgal, also known as Gabs, shared her discovery while working at her local Kmart.
‘This candle is the most delicious thing that I have ever smelled in my life,’ she said.
She added: ‘And the sprinkles! It’s Christmas Cookie flavour. How beautiful is that?’
The post currently has more than 80,000 hearts (likes), 1582 shares, and more than 900 comments.
One user said: ‘Kmart have been selling these for years, I buy so many every year, they are Christmas in a jar.’
‘It’s the only candle I’ll buy on repeat because it’s delicious,’ wrote a clearly ecstatic commenter.
As more and more users asked where they could find the candle (especially online), Gabs wrote apologetically: ‘I’m not in control of when Christmas stock comes out, please it’s not my decision.’
Well, what I’d give to get a whiff of that candle! I love everything Christmas related!
