That sounds about right! Ladies were not allowed in so-called "men's" territory for a long time.Ooops! Forgot the time. Sorry. But as promised, here is what I learnt a couple of decades ago.
The name came about way back when they were first beginning to get the game organised.
G.O.L.F. = Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden.
