How did your holidays go?

Members, I (Sethia) have missed ALL of you! It's an absolute delight to be back after soaking in the joy of a fantastic Christmas and New Year's Eve break! My family and I honestly didn't do anything special over the break. We just whipped up some of our favourite dishes, watched some iconic Christmas movies, and spent plenty of time exchanging stories. Now, I'm itching to hear all about how your holidays went, so please tell me all about it in the comments below. Whether you spent time with your family, opted to stay in and relax, or dived into a brand-new TV series, I hope it was filled with laughter, love, and all things merry.

I have spent yet another lonely xmas &new year on my own, talking to myself & getting angry for that reason only. I have been existing in a villa complex of 8 for just over 13 months In NORANDA .The (mostly) older people here are not very friendly and one is a snoopy busy body and a peeping tom . --Recently had an altercation with him when he tried to interfere into my privacy when i told him to mind his own business. & he threatened me. i ended up walking away as he would wind up in hospital (i can look after myself when it comes to that) But that just makes things more annoying. I do not like it here but i have no where else to go as most rentals are way out of my reach $$$. Thanks for reading this but just letting you know that not everyone is Rosy & cheerfull

My holiday was fantastic. I did the Xmas markets tour with my sister to Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and Berlin. Then onto Krakow, Poland, to do the Auschwitz/Birkenau and Salt mines tours. Next stop beautiful Prague, last stop Paris, to see my son perform in Moulin Rouge and spend Christmas with him. Home now to reality and back to work.

Well it was certainly a Xmas we're not keen on repeating. We got a direct hit from cyclone jasper. We've been through 5 cyclones and besides Tracey which we were lucky enough to fly out before it hit, jasper was bad. I can't find the adjective to describe how scared we were.
No power, water or communications for 7 days. No damage to our homes but the driving force of the wind forced water under the doors. Our two homes are on a little rise and saved flooding but many homes were evacuated and they lost everything 💔.
Wujal wujal just up the road from us were hardest hit. But we will endure.
