Home Made Pork Sausage With A Twist

We have Greek Cypriots in the Family and they always make these sausages and my family love them .

Serves 4 - 6
Recipe can be doubled

Ingredients

1 kg Pork Mince
1 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freshly squeezed lemon juice to serve

Method

1. In a bowl mix Pork mince with all other ingredients except the lemon juice.

2. Using your hands squeeze mixture together and form into small sausage shapes , a bit smaller than a normal sausage.

preheat frypan or BBQ and cook these for around 15 minutes turning occasionally.
Squeeze lemon juice over before serving with salad .

These go really well served on hot Pita bread wuth salad we will also add tzatziki
