Many years ago, living in Nedlands, my mother used to make a type of "oranges & lemon" pudding, which my older sister rudely called "muck fuddy" - later examples of the varied dessert were labelled "megilla cuddy".

Despite some unusual names, the dish stood the "test of time".

Cheers,
Toad

Hilarious and it sounds delicious… do you have the recipe???

My Mum used to make Jelly Cakes, yum. Jelly coated over cake made in a pattycake pan and coated in coconut, then sliced part way through and whipped cream put in. We lived on a dairy farm so had lots of milk and cream and eggs from the chooks.
