Hilarious clip of a farmer goes viral as cheeky emu hogs the camera

One cheeky emu has proven that craving the limelight isn’t a feeling that’s exclusive to humans after hilariously stealing the show while a farmer attempts to record a video about miniature cows.

The emu, named Emmanuel, became a TikTok sensation thanks to his funny antics including hogging the camera and pecking the device until it falls to the ground.

He’s a resident of Knuckle Bump Farms in Florida, which regularly posts educational content on social media platforms.

While one of the workers, Taylor Blake, is in the middle of filming a video about miniature cows, the beloved emu pops into full view and stares at the camera curiously.

'Don't do it, Emmanuel, don't do it!' Blake yelled, giving the emu a lecture.

The bird looks back at her but remains unbothered by her scolding, staring intently at his reflection in the camera before pecking it with his beak.

'No, Emmanuel, stop!' Blake shouts, but the mischievous bird looks proud of himself as he stares at the fallen device.

‘I’m trying to educate people right now, okay?’ she can be heard explaining to the animal while trying to hold in laughter.

The hilarious clip has made the rounds online, amassing over 11 million views in the span of a few weeks and many more comments from users who have become fans of the cheeky animal.

‘I would like to request more ‘Emmanuel content!’ one user wrote.

‘Emmanuel always lets his intrusive thoughts win.’ teased another alongside laughing emojis.

‘Emmanuel wakes up and chooses violence every morning.’ chimed a third, while a fourth said: ‘He knows that he IS the real star here.’

‘I love Emmanuel so much!’ gushed another.

‘He is the best kind of rebel.’ added one more.

But Emmanuel is not the only animal on the farm who likes to steal the spotlight. His sisters, Ellen and Regina, also like to peck at the camera while the workers try to film videos.

Princess, a deer, is known for photobombing the videos and nipping at Blake's arms for attention but the other animals are more receptive to commands than Emmanuel.

Blake regularly posts the animals' antics on the farm’s TikTok account, @knucklebumpfarms, as well as on her own social media platforms. After heavy demand, she also confirmed that 'Don't do it, Emmanuel' merchandise is set to launch.
