Hi​

I am 64 living in beautiful Warrnambool by the sea. We moved from Melbourne 18 months ago, having lived there our whole lives. I am still working part time as a Legal Secretary in family law and am also now doing voluntary work. Part time is great, now having more time for myself and my husband.

It's been a difficult year. Mum passed away in August, husband has just had a pacemaker put in and in March I was made redundant after 13 years in the same job. It was a large Melbourne legal firm and it came out of the blue with no warning.

Anyhow 2024 can only be better and we are positive about the future.

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year.

Welcome Floofybunny. So glad that you have joined our community. Sorry to hear about your mum & I’m sure that you are missing her today. 2023 was a challenge for many of us this year so you have landed in the right place at SDC.
