I've always wanted to try surfing. It seems SO cool. Any tips for a complete beginner?

Well firstly you need to be able to swim, depending on where you come from you might also need a wetsuit! I’m from Victoria and at the moment the water temperature is getting cold at this time of year! I took my daughter to Island surfboards on Phillip island, they have a great program for beginners, coaches, surfboards, wetsuits are all supplied and it’s safe and lots of fun! Would recommend this but there’s lots of professional surf schools at lots of beaches around Australia
