Hi from Shane​

Hi fellow seniors - my name is Shane and I am from West End in Brisbane. New to all of this but will muddle my way through it all. I have a Constructiion Management background and currently work part-time (trying to slow down) in Aged Care - Infrastructure Management (Buildings and Maintenance). Vietnamese wife, & son 27 and daughter 22 (both long gone from home) who are about to leave to Japan for the 4th or 5th time. The love of my life is Em oi - my (almost) 2-year old toy cavoodle. I have an apartment in the inner city but are currently thinking about avoiding the rat-race and relocating to a over-50"s Lifestyle facility at Logan Reserve. (Halcyon Rise) Would be interested in chatting with anyone else living in these facilities and the pro's and con's, or I'm just good for a chat.
