Hi, I am new to the SDC having retired in January after careers in both the Australian Army and then as a teacher and school leader. Still getting used to not having to negotiate city traffic to get to school but enjoying this new life thus far
Hi Sethia, I used to be a professional musician early in my career so am putting time into practice again after a hectic working environment for so many years. I am learning guitar which was at the top of my retirement bucket list, and have also joined a Mens’ Shed to learn woodworking and woodturning. My focus in that area will be small items rather than furniture e.g. picture frames, jewellery boxes etc. But the underlying reason for the Shed is to be active and enjoy the company of men like myself who have suddenly hit the end of their career.Hello, @Rod Iffinger !
