What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?

Hi. Pleased to hear you managed to get to Cairns between lockdowns. We have been extremely lucky here with only a recent lockdown and mask requirements which ended on Friday afternoon. I like crafts, quilting, and run an over 50’s social group. Keeps me a little busy. Weather today not too pleasant, overcast and drizzly 🌧🌧️️

Sounds brilliant! I've often thought I'd like to move up to FNQ but I'm not sure I could handle the humidity... Is it something you get used to? Do you feel like it's getting worse over time?

I am a true local and spent most of my time here. I would rather be hot than cold. Fiercely hate the cold. Have lived in capital city and small southern country towns. You do eventually climatise to the conditions. There was no such thing as air conditioned classrooms or even workplaces in my younger days!!!!
