Hecla Toaster​

We had a Hecla toaster for years in my growing up days and I remember my Dad changing the heating element mor than once. Best toaster for Crumpets.

I had one when I was about 18. I had finished my breakfast one morning and was washing up. I unplugged the toaster so it would cool down, then had a brain fade and washed it along with my dishes. Didn't use it after that

Made my first cheese toasty in one of these…layed it down on the bench…..remember it was probably the best toasties I ever ate…great for crumpets, could get that cooked all the way through and brown and crunchy….mmmm
Do remember being told off about my irresponsibly of laying the toaster on it’s side!!

I never thought of that! Just as well I might have burnt the whole house down
