I have always admired Meryl Streep because of the way she portrays the characters she plays They are always so believable.

Always liked Meryl Streep. Seemed so down to earth. Since they have been separated for 6 years you could say the marriage lasted 39 years, not 45. It is very rare for any movie stars to stay married to the same person that long. I’m sure to them a spouse is like an accessory, they get sick of it after a little while and want a new one.

Meryl Streep is great at anything she acts in. The terrific thing is that she and her ex-husband managed to keep their separation under wraps for so long until she decided to speak about it. Especially in the Acting world it must be fairly unique. Good on them both!

I rally believe Actors and the like should have a private life and we should not interfere nor make comment on their families or marriages. It would have been devasting enough for Meryl and Husband at the time of their separation without outsiders, who don't actually know them, commenting on their separation.
