I've had 3 emails lately saying I have a message in my My Gov box, didn't click on it, but checked my My Gov box and there are no messages.
 
I got one today ... again! But had to laugh when I looked at the sender's email: xam@google sounds almost like scam....
 
Only reply or act upon messages sent to your myGov inbox.

Does the email contain a <no sender address> message? There lies your answer to its authenticity.
The messages from myGov are not always authentic. Best to check with the Department before answering these emails.
