Handy Hint for falls at home

I am over 70 yo,110kg, have fibromyalgia and two knees with no cartilage, so need considerable assistance to get on my feet if I fall. This has been compounded my husbands failing health as he is now unable to assist. Lift equipment is pricey, and calling friends or ambos to assist can be humiliating, so we found a fairly cheap (less than $100) alternative and it works as well as any professional outfit. We purchased a dual layer, self inflating, single bed. Lay it flat (preferably near something you can use to assist you to stand) , plug it in, roll onto it and in less than five minutes it has risen you to chair height where you can swing your legs over the side and pull yourself upright.
Just remember to store at floor level it where it is handy to access. Blow up bed.jpg
