Hand pushed lawn mower

Who pushed one of these around every weekend as a kid?
We all had our own jobs to do each weekend to earn our pocket money and my job was to mow the lawn. It was a kikuyu lawn too, which meant it was a pretty tough type of grass and if I let it go more than a couple of weeks, it was a back breaking task to push that old blunt mower around. After mowing, I then had to trim the edges with hand shears....no whipper snippers back then and it would always take most of Sunday morning to get the front lawn into shape.
Thank goodness we didn't have a back lawn too....backyards in those days were for the vegetable garden and fruit trees.
Did you push one of these around too?

Hard yacca but so satisfying when you finished. The smell of freshly cut grass.
