Grandkids Slang: 'Not me'

Don't be lost on all the new lingo of the younger generation. We'll help you dissect what they mean and have fun while doing it! For today's ‘What Would The Grandkids Say?’ segment, we're tackling the term ‘not me’. It's used to call yourself out, usually in a funny or self-deprecating way—something like: 'Not me laughing out loud from all the SDC members' jokes'. What about you? How would you use 'not me' in everyday life? Share it in this thread.

"Not I" is correct grammar, as the verb to follow is understood. Remember the story "The Little Red Hen?"
The answer was "Not I" by all the animals until asked, "Who will help me eat the bread?" Alas, this is something that still happens. We aren't prepared to do the work, yet we want to reap the benefits or the hand outs.
