Good morning to all...​

Hi there,
My name is Cheryl and I've just joined so I'd like to introduce myself. I am originally from Manchester UK and have been here (Sydney NSW) for almost 26 years. I migrated with my husband in 1997 but we separated and ultimately divorced. I became an Aussie citizen after 2 years. I remarried and my Aussie soulmate Ross and I celebrated our 16th anniversary yesterday Between us we have 4 adult children and 9 grandchildren. My only daughter, her husband and my 2 granddaughters live in WA so I don't get to see them as often as I would like.
My husband and I recently retired and are enjoying a well deserved rest from the daily grind. I worked as a secretary at the Children's Hospital Westmead for almost 20 years, in Clinical Genetics which was fascinating. My husband worked for an international company as a sourcing specialist but got to wear 'many hats' in his role. Well, that's enough waffle from me for now. Catch 'ya later

Wow, thank you Cheryl @Cherella! My heart made a little skip at the mention of you and Ross, we're glad you found your happily ever after! We hope you and the hubby are getting some well-deserved rest and recreation

I do recall that we have some members who also came in from the UK to Australia. Have you ever thought of moving back?
