Golden Syrup In A Tin
I remember when Golden Syrup came in a large Tin that you had to prise open with a knife.
You would always need to find somewhere to place the lid.
Not only was it a much needed ingredient in Anzac biscuits it was also amazing on a piece of buttered toast.
I remember my grandfather using it in his porridge after he had poured in the milk saying ' drown the Miller ' no idea why he used to say that
