We emigrated back in 1965 and they were the very first mugs that mum and dad bought when they bought the house. When dad passed back in 2013, and we were cleaning out his things, we came across a couple of them after all this time. My sister took them both, wish I'd asked for one now. Guess I'm just gonna have to scour the op shops to see if I can find one. LOL

My Mum used to make me a delicious hot milo in one of these types of mugs. Sadly they were no mugs left when my parents passed, but we treasure the fond memories. Mum loved her tea and scotch fingers too. Dad and his tea in one with ginger nut bikies!
