Glenn McGrath tests positive for COVID-19 ahead of SCG Pink Test honouring late wife
Former paceman Glenn McGrath has tested positive for COVID-19, ahead of day three, otherwise known as Jane McGrath Day, of the SCG Test.
The 51-year-old, who co-founded the McGrath Foundation — a charitable organisation that helps raise funds to support those with breast cancer and increase awareness on the disease by turning Australia's year-opening Test into a fundraising drive — was reportedly feeling well and is currently isolating at home.

The attendance of the beloved Glenn McGrath on Jane McGrath Day is still a possibility as there is hope that he could return a negative test just in time for the event.
The McGrath Foundation chief executive Holly Masters said: “Glenn has had a PCR test which unfortunately returned a positive result.”
“We wish Glenn and his family good health."
“We are grateful to our partners at Cricket Australia and the SCG."
“As well as the England cricket team and the broadcasters for their ongoing support for the Pink Test and look forward to still making this the ‘pinkest’ Ashes.”
The former paceman told Sunrise that he's “feeling really good” and “normal".
McGrath said: "[It] is just the way it goes these days."
“I was down in Melbourne obviously for the Boxing Day Test, I had a PCR test hours before I flew out of there, I landed home and got the result the next day and it was negative."
“Then my young daughter Madison, who is six, was a little bit crook and had a bit of a fever, so I had a rapid test and it came back positive.”
The 51-year-old shared that he and his daughter raced to a testing site for a PCR swab, which unfortunately confirmed that they both have COVID-19.
McGrath said that he hopes to return a negative rapid test by Friday to be able to attend day three of the Test — the day dedicated to honouring his late wife Jane and raising money for The McGrath Foundation.

“Hopefully I’ll return a negative rapid test on day one of the Test match, which would allow me to get down to Sydney," he said.
“But I think the planets have to align for all that to come together, we’ll see how we go.”
We encourage everyone to get involved on Jane McGrath day and wear their favourite pink shirt, hat or outfit. It’s a great day to support our Aussie Cricket team and raise awareness for Breast Cancer. For more information, head to the Jane McGrath Foundation website here. https://www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au/
