GIVE UP
Young Benny arrives home from school and says to his mother,
"Mummy, when daddy was taking me to school on the bus this morning,
he made me give up my seat to a lady who was standing next to us.
So I did.
But do you think I should have given up my seat?"
"Well Benny," replies his mother, "I think it was a very nice thing to do.
I always appreciate someone giving up their seat for me when all the seats are taken."
"I know that, mummy," says Benny, "but I was sitting on daddy’s lap at the time."
