Just a thought if people have the freezer capacity, and are going to purchase seafood like crays prawns etc. Now would maybe be the best time to buy them and save yourselves some much needed cash expenses" Hope this idea helps if not then tell me to mind my own bloody business.

Crayfish if frozen for too long tend to go really watery and mushy when defrosted and lose flavour. Prawns also are not recommended to be frozen for too long either as the same thing happens. The fresher the better. I used to own a restaurant in tassie attached to my B and B. Burnt down last Xmas in the bushfires unfortunately. Also I don’t recommend buying w.a crayfish as they are meatless and horrible tasteless and too small from woollies I recall.
