General Tips:
If you’re worried about sodium intake, only use half the flavour sachet
Add whatever veggies you have laying around like carrot, leafy greens, corn, or peas.
Pop a fried or boiled egg on top. This is a fantastic way to get some extra protein

Pimped Out Noodles
Add anything in your fridge to the mix (veggies, leftover meat).

Noodle Omelette
Add your cooked noodles and whisked eggs to a pan and whip up a hearty noodle omelette.

Chow Mein
Your choice of mince, a chow mein flavour packet from the supermarket, frozen veggies and two-minute noodles. This is a cost-effective meal that everyone will love.

Cold noodle salad
Simply add an Asian salad mix to your cooled noodles, add some soy sauce if you’re a fan, and enjoy!

Cheat’s noodles
Buy them already packed with flavour! We promised this isn’t sponsored, we’ve just tried a lot of noodles in our time!

Maggi Fusian Noodle Malaysian Laksa 5pack 345g
The packet comes with sachets and instructions for laksa soup noodles. You can even crack an egg directly into the bowl and cook it in the microwave at the same time as your noodles. They also offer a Thai Tom Yum flavour in this range.

Maggi Fusian Instant Soupy Noodles Vietnamese Beef & Lemongrass 5 Pack
For a more subdued flavour, the Vietnamese beef & lemongrass soupy noodles could be more your style!

Both these 5 packs are $4.50 at Woolworths which is 90 cents a serve. Plus an egg (roughly 40 cents each), you’ve got a meal for $1.30!

What do you think, members? Worth a shot? Or do you have a genius way to bulk up your instant noodles? Please let us know in the comments!

I find myself using a lot of 2 minute noodles, they are cheap, filling and you can add just about anything to them to make each meal different. They are almost always on my shopping list.:)
