Alright, mates, let’s get a bit nostalgic!

We all know Aussie slang is complex and fun, but here’s the thing—some of it might be flying right over the heads of the younger crew! 🤯 So, we want to hear from YOU: what Aussie sayings do you reckon are lost on the younger generation?

Drop your best (or funniest) Aussie slang below and let’s see who can stump the youngsters! 👇 Do you still say 'bogged' or 'fair dinkum'? Or maybe you've got a hidden gem no one’s heard of? Let’s have a laugh! 😂

Cheers!
Blue

Strewth Blue! I reckon only a deadset drongo would have a go at this, mate. Fair suck of the sauce bottle, but I reckon it’ll be a dog’s breakfast. I’m not chock a block full of ideas yet. I haven’t had me morning sanga and crikey, me sheila, the old trouble and strife hasn’t even boiled the bloody billy yet!

Oi shut your cake hole.

I have always loved, as flash as a rat with a good tooth and we’re not here to f#$& spiders.

Half a moe

Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill

Fair suck of the sav, me plates of meat are cooked, and where's me dogs eyes n dead horse ya bogan.

Pickle me grandmother.

"Chuck a snag on the barbie this arvo, grab a cold one, and she'll be right, mate!"

Aggro, Bloody oath, She'll be right, Yeah nah, Galah, Give it a burl, Good onya, Ripper, Heaps good, and many many others.
I like to stump my American friend, he has no clue what most of the things mean.
Oh, and anything Alf says on Home And Away 😂

When my Mum was confused she wouldn't say 'what?' she'd say 'Who?' sounding a bit like a confused own.

'No Wukkas' - I think I heard that saying some 50 years ago in a country pub.

I remember that one as no wuckin' furries........ with the first letters swapped, so it didn't sound like swearing
