Good morning, bright souls! Hope your cuppaā€™s hot and your morningā€™s off to a smooth start. As we inch closer to Easter, I thought itā€™d be fun to share something a little light and cheeky... Whatā€™s your weirdest or most memorable Easter story?

Mine? I once accidentally ate a very stale Easter mealā€”didnā€™t realise it until it sent me running to the bathroom not long after. Not exactly the kind of egg hunt I had in mind, but hey, it stuck with me! šŸ˜…

38yrs ago I was in hospital having my last child. I had a caesarian so stayed all Easter in hospital while my husband had 3 other children to mind.

About 30 years ago we went camping in a National Park site in Sydney where you had to get there by boat or ferry. It was a lovely Easter apart from the constant rain and being freezing cold. Our two man tent was pretty basic and kept most of the rain out. We decided to have a barbeque and our mate Ken got everything started and we were looking forward to something warm to eat. Then lo and behold one of the big native birds flew down and picked a snag straight off the bbq! We were stunned and then just rolled around laughing! This weekend goes down as the wettest, coldest and most uncomfortable Easter ever. We couldn't wait to go home for a hot shower!

Many Easters ago, myself, a mate and his then wife set off to drive down to Devon from London. In usual British style we stopped at a few pubs on the way. Then over the four day break spent most of Easter drinking in a few pubs around Devon. We even went on one of UK's preserved steam railways, and yes there was a bar on the train, so a few more pints were drank. We finally made it back to London late on the Easter Monday, having drank our way back from Devon. The number of pints drank that long weekend must have been in the 50s !!! A very memorable weekend indeed.

Yes, my husband was admitted to hosptial last night, after all the planning for a smooth Easter etc. There you go, he hasn`t been well for while but went downhill very quickly yesterday. I`m still waiting to find out more information. ( The Easter Bunny missed our home this year).
I'm sure the Easter Bunny will visit the hospital. I hope your husband will recover and return home asap. šŸ¤žšŸ˜Š
