Rise and shine! How are you all this Tuesday morning? ☀️ Me? I’m feeling a bit lighter today, thanks to the sweetest video I stumbled across. Someone left snacks out for delivery drivers, and one driver’s reaction completely made my day. She lit up with such joy—it was the kind of smile that stays with you. 💛 You can watch the video below:

It got me thinking—what’s one small act of kindness you’ve experienced (or given) that brightened your day? We’d love to hear your story—share it here and let’s keep that warm energy flowing this Tuesday.

I remember my grandparents always giving cold drinks to the postie and garbo's and at Xmas they always gave a box of beer to the garbo's and a Christmas card with money in it for the postie.

I have always loved giving rather than receiving and I do that in many ways .
I love helping people especially those who need my help.
I used to always cook meals for neighbours eg if they had a baby or was sick.
Every night we would take a plate of food into our neighbour who was an alcoholic and very sick. He was our neighbour for maybe 30 years. To us what was one more plate of food. In the end he could only eat soup so soup was what I made him.

Recently one of our neighbours passed away at just 45 from cancer leaving behind 3 kids and hubby. So I would make a lasagne and fresh bread once a week. Other days I knew the grandparents took food

A few weeks ago we were driving to the shops when it started to pour down, hubby noticed a lady at the unsheltered bus stop and stopped and asked where she was going to my surprise she was happy to accept the lift abd was going where we were going. I later asked hubby if it was OK for me to accept a lift if I was in the same situation and he simply replied No.

There are many ways to give and help others abd sometimes just that little thing can make a huge difference to someone else.

My biggest advice is always don't be nasty to others and try to smile

I showed a young man how to fold his washed shirts. He smiled and was happy putting them into the cupboard.

Throughout the Summer, l always hand Garbo, recycle & organic drivers icy cold water bottles. If l catch my postie l do the same. They always appreciate it. When l used to bake, Christmas time l always gave a box of baked goodies as well.

My daughter Debra was forever bringing people in off the street to stay the night.
One woman and grandson during eating dinner told us bluntly that they did it all the time and one asked for and got $20 when my hubby took her to the airport in the early hours of the morning which was miles away. My hubby had very good nature and would always help anybody broken down on the road and fix their cars.
The unexpected and nice thing that happened to us was when a stranger gave me $20 when he must have overheard heard me telling the children l didn't have any money to buy them food. We were on our way home and they were hungry. l thanked him and asked how l could repay him and he just said to do the same or give it to charity .

A couple of years ago a lady was in front of me at the checkout and she was $20 something short and started taking items off. I told her it was OK I would pay and she asked me how could she pay me back , I told her to donate it to charity or keep it aside to help someone else.

Her shopping consisted of all necessities , meat bread rice ect .

It's small gestures that make a big impact and hopefully through these small deeds it plants some seeds
