General Discussion Thread 04.01.2025

What’s got you excited for 2025? Let’s discuss! 🎉

I’ve been doing a bit of thinking about the year ahead. You know, there’s something about January that just feels like a fresh, new notebook—so many pages to fill and so much to look forward to!

For me, I’m preparing for some big life changes this year and planning to revisit some of my old forgotten hobbies (fingers crossed I get to do them all! 😅 ).

But enough about me—what about YOU? Is 2025 the year you’ll pick up a new hobby, take that long-dreamed-of trip, or simply spend more time soaking up the good things in life?

Drop a comment and let us know what’s got you excited. Big plans, small joys, or even just that first slice of mango from the tree—it all counts. Can’t wait to read your stories and get inspired!

Let’s make 2025 a ripper of a year together. 💙

Cheers,
Blue

Life is precious. Live it to the fullest so eat well, make movement part of your life, laugh, enjoy every moment with family and friends but most of all give yourself a break. Treat yourself to that cake, milkshake, icecream, whatever once in a while. Because you still want to live life 😁

Dreams are FREE! I am a 70 yearold new author of Mr. Stork Delivering Megan. People who have read the story think it could make an All family friendly Animated Movie? You may want to see, if you feel the same? If you want to check out https://www.arkhousepress.com/mr-stork-delivering-megan/
Happy New Year 2025 to all SDC Team and Members.
Regards

I am looking forward to completing notes/story on my Great Great Grandfather, a MAD Irish convict from Dublin who was sent out to Tassie in 1843. I need to complete my notes and put him to rest...but somehow he will still remain in my thoughts alot and drive me crazy! Family tree can be exciting and time consuming, but very addictive and a jigsaw puzzle searching for the missing pieces!

Happy New Year to all of you. I hope my wife and I have a improvment in 2025.
over the period of 2 plus years, she broke her arm, got diagnosed with breast cancer, broke her elbo , the same arm, cracked a vertebrae and during a colonoscopy the surgeon exidently perferated her bowel. She now is mobile only with the help of a wheel walker.
You will agree with me we are due for some improvement?

The bank might issue you with a new credit card so they can’t take any more money. They have done it before for me. It’s worth a try
