I'd just come home from my final Radiotherapy appointment this morning and found a parcel at the door, I was gobsmacked, for want of another word.
It was my glasses from you Suzanne, they are gorgeous and work perfectly for both reading the computer and watching tv, I don't have to swap them over anymore.
Also in the beautiful pouch were some braclets and the most divine bottle of Gucci perfume.

I'm seeing a young lady going through chemo atm. In 4 weeks she has had so much. First week 3 rounds in 3 days. Plus they put a line from her wrist into her heart . Next two weeks one round each week then she got RSV plus sepsis.
This week she has has two rounds. Her hair already started falling out in chunks so her mum shaved her.

She is only 30 with 5 year old twins.
She has Hoskinsons Lymphoma which has spread to her chest.

It's so sad when you hear about someone so young going through cancer, my heart goes out to her and her family.
Sadly mine is terminal, no cure for me, just therapy to hold it off for as long as I can.

I've had the same problem finding decent glasses without spending a heap. I came across https://oyosight.com/ recently and grabbed a pair—they're comfy and clear, and the price didn’t shock me for once. They even had a bunch of styles so I didn’t feel like I was wearing my granddad’s old specs. Worth checking out if you're over the budget options everywhere else.

That's an American site, not for us here in Australia. Although i'm guessing they would ship to us here in Australia I don't think it would be worth it as we have our own optical shops over here with decent priced glasses!

I just ask them how much did they pay for postage. Any postage from the US is expensive
