Free coffee TODAY! Here's how you can grab one at 7-Eleven’s special day

Everyone loves a good cup of coffee. The rich aroma, the first energising sip—nothing beats that simple pleasure and a daily ritual that fuels our day.

But what could make your day even better? A FREE cup of coffee, of course!

On Tuesday, 7 November (or '7/11' for short!), the convenience store will be giving away free regular coffee and even large Slurpees all day today across 740 stores in the country in celebration of 7-Eleven Day.

Julie Laycock—General Manager of Customer & Insights at 7-Eleven—spoke about this opportunity to reward their customers on its national day.

‘What better way to do that than with their favourite drink, on the house?' she said.

'We are proud to serve over a million cups of freshly ground coffee each week, using Fairtrade-certified coffee beans. Add our famous slurpees into the mix, and our stores are on track to serve 100 million drinks this year,’ she added.

'It's an incredible figure driven by our customers, and we're pleased to have the opportunity to give back to them with the products they truly love on the seventh of the eleventh.'

The catch? Only paying customers can get the freebies. This means the free drink will only be available with any purchase.

To mark the start of the day's celebrations, a 7-Eleven-branded hot air balloon with take off over Melbourne at dawn.

If that's not enough to get you in the 7/11-Day spirit, you’ll also have the chance to win one of 12 prizes of $711 each!

All you have to do is showcase your most creative 7/11 Day celebrations across social media featuring the hashtag #7ElevenDay and tagging @7elevenaus. Entries will close by 11:59 p.m. AEDT, 7 November.

The brand said that one of the cheapest ways to get free coffee or Slurpee is to buy any item in the store, like a Chupa Chup for 80 cents or a Cadbury Freddo Frog for $1.05! Note that you can only get one free coffee or Slurpee per product purchased.

This is a great deal, knowing that 7-Eleven increased its price for a regular cup of coffee to $2 and large coffee to $3. This is something to look forward to on 7/11! Do not miss out on this very special day, members!
