Foods that improve blood circulation

To ensure good health, here's a list of foods that improve blood circulation. The blood carries oxygen and nutrients to all the body's organs and tissues.

- Pumpkin seeds

Pumpkin seeds are very rich in vitamin E. They help make blood vessels more elastic and improve circulation. At the same time, they prevent the formation of blood clots.

- Ginger improves blood circulation

Ginger is a root capable of stimulating circulation, as it speeds up metabolism. It also acts as an analgesic for pain and promotes the absorption of nutrients from other foods.

- Watermelon improves blood circulation

As well as being one of the most diuretic fruits to help eliminate water retention, watermelon contains lycopene. Lycopene is an antioxidant that stimulates circulation, particularly in the extremities that cause swelling.

- Garlic

To promote blood purification, we recommend crushing a clove of garlic in a glass of water and drinking it in the morning. At the same time, this will eliminate the barriers that slow down circulation.

- Turmeric

Turmeric is excellent for blood fluidity and reduces pain. It also relieves pressure and swelling in the legs. As it is also an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant source, this spice is widely used in oriental cuisine and alternative medicine.

- Vitamin C

Pineapple is a diuretic fruit rich in fiber. It also contains bromelain, a substance that promotes the absorption of fibrin protein.

The body needs healthy fats and omega-3 fatty acids to balance blood pressure and reduce inflammatory processes. They also boost the immune system and stimulate vasodilation, thus improving circulation. Recommended foods include oily fish, avocado, coconut, olive oil, eggs and oilseeds.

- Dark green vegetables

Leaves, cabbage, broccoli and other vegetables of this color are rich in antioxidants and fiber. They help detoxify the liver and promote good circulation.
