Fitness coach shares tip on how to order a healthier version of McDonald’s Bacon and Egg McMuffin — "I'm going to let you in on a Macca's order hack!”

We all know that fast food isn't the healthiest option out there. But sometimes, we find ourselves in a bind and need to grab something quick.

If you're stuck with no option but McDonald's, there is a way to make your breakfast a little healthier. Health coach Bec Hardgrave reveals her "hack" for a bacon and egg McMuffin that's packed with protein.

In a video posted on the Brisbane fitness coach's TikTok page, Bec is seen ordering the usual bacon and egg McMuffin item from the drive-through.

"I'm going to let you in on a Macca's order hack that gives you a lower calorie, higher protein bacon and egg McMuffin burger," she said in the video.

Bec customises her order, indicating that she wants the cooking oil and cheese slice removed and adds an extra egg for only $1 to boost the protein levels.

"It's around 300 calories and almost 30 g of protein," Bec quipped.

The video has since then gone viral, amassing more than 11,000 views and hundreds of comments from stunned users who were raving over the impressive hack.

One user said: "I had no idea you could ask for no oil... Thank you! I'll be asking for this next time."

"I will definitely be trying this hack out! Looks good,” another said,

The fitness coach has gained a massive following due to her inventive hacks and healthier remakes of some of the most popular fast food items including Red Rooster's Flayva wrap and Nando's chicken.

I may be dim but I just can't think of a situation where I was "forced" to have Maccas. So far in my life I've managed to not be "forced" for about 40 or more years!! I wonder how I managed!!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:

I was 'forced' into Maccas once. I was on the outskirts of the city and got the shakes from low blood sugar. (That can happen suddenly) Macca's was the only 'food' store around and I had to have something. I think it was the worst toasted cheese sandwich I've ever had. Two sheets of cardboard with some glue in between. However, I believe that there is always a reason for something that happens. That day a gentleman asked me if I could buy him some food as he hadn't eaten in three days. I told him to order whatever he wanted and as much as he wanted but he only ordered a standard breakfast.

Just have the bacon and the extra egg. Much healthier to throw the muffin out. And much healthier again - eat breakfast at home!
