Most of us would like to increase our income, even by a small amount, to be able to afford a more luxurious lifestyle, a holiday or some household gadget to improve our quality of life.

As we get into our ‘senior years’ it becomes a little more difficult to secure a high-paying position, but then, we may not want to simply jump back into the ‘rat race’. A part-time job would be the answer—not nearly so much pressure, and if you choose wisely, you can turn your income stream on and off like a tap!



The first task in finding any job is to have a well-written resumé or CV.

There is a wealth of information on the internet concerning what to write, how to write and what to include and exclude concerning a CV, but here are some of the major points concerning your application as an older person requiring a part or full-time job:
