Bat

Both bats and flying foxes are capable of sustained flight. Flying foxes are a type of bat anyway, and bats are the only group of mammals capable of true powered flight, however, neither is a marsupial; they are placental mammals. The difference being how their young develop, with marsupials giving birth to underdeveloped offspring that complete their development in a pouch nourished by milk, while placental mammals develop fully inside the uterus, supported by a complex placenta. The question is faulty.
