When it comes to fashion, most of us overlook on-trend items due to the high price tags attached to them.
It is hard to justify spending a lot on something that we might only wear a few times.
Fortunately, affordable versions of these fashionable items are often made available for purchase at budget retailers, allowing those who are not willing to spend a fortune on clothing articles to be on-trend too.
Take for example Acne Studios $410 wool scarf.
The fashionable scarf is arguably expensive due to the materials used to make it — a mix of 33 per cent alpaca, 25 per cent wool, 20 per cent mohair and 22 per cent nylon.
Budget retailer Kmart has released its budget-friendly version of the fashionable scarf, retailing it for only $12.

You read that right, folks! A similar-looking scarf is available at Kmart for only a fraction of the original item's price.
One fashionista, @sophia_harrison, took to TikTok to share the Kmart find, showcasing the $12 Fluffy Scarf and describing it as "cute and cosy".
"Run don't walk," Sophia says in the video, advising budget fashion enthusiasts to rush to their local Kmart stores to score the "super soft" scarf.
The $12 Fluffy Scarf comes in three different check patterns of green, pink and purple hues.
While it shares a similar style to the more expensive Acne Studios version, the Kmart scarf is made with polyester material.

Sophia's video instantly went viral, amassing more than 221,000 views and hundreds of comments from fashionistas who are "obsessed" with the find.
One person wrote: "OMG I need it for winter!"
Meanwhile, a number of TikTok users lamented that they could not find any stock of the scarf left in their local stores.
One comment read: “Already sold out.”
“I literally just bought this, don’t tell everyone,” another joked.
A third chimed in: “They were sold out when I got there … drove two hours.”
For those who are keen to get their hands on this gorgeous scarf but have failed to find stock available in their local stores, fashion retailer Cotton On is also selling a similar scarf for $20.
Happy scarf hunting!
